As the poems tell, I'm acquainted w/the scene and a fan of it since 1994,
when I was 17 years. Nowadays, with so many hackers, phreakers, rogue pro-
grammers and cyber-pirates falling, accused, sued, etc I've thought of it and
come to the conclusion that there is, for me, no way of beign prosecuted for
breaking the law w/the computer.
I've been always good and careful, I've never jeopardized my freedom doing
illegal things like: phreaking, hacking, spreading virii, rogue coding, etc.
I've never supported piracy nor did I commit any type of fraud inspired by
underground, clandestine, lectures and/or moods.
I have never contributed to the circulation of dishonest information
like: kiddy porn, explosive's recipes, witchcraft texts and the like...altho-
uhg one "/magik" directory on my former system always was there keeping on
growing, I have always being selective w/the files on it, letting there only
texts of the occult w/no connections to witchcraft.
My systems were always oriented towards text art and alternative publishing
excluing the types of files that I've named. But always I think of this
things: that's why I come to the point of apologizing for the things _I_ have
done: the unauthorized use of somebody's else character and paraphernalia,
wich is Boromir (c) JRR Tolkien and the Silmarill. This was when I've wrote
for CRC in 1997, but that is not all, also I want to apologize for the exerpts
from poems or entire poems I've taken for enhancing my ascii collections:
namely "Ella" by Oliverio Girondo, "Mariano" by Mario Benedetti, a speech by
Nekro of FUNxPEOPLE and also I've taken the name of a song by Acidos Populares
that is "Dance with the Wind". As I told in the review of the poems for Circe
also I'm sorry for the forging I've tried to do of "La Colmena" and the other
thing is that I've choosen my nickname "Pop-A" based on the "P.R.y.S.R.d.R"
(ie: Los Redondos) 's song "The Great Pop Beast". Redondos influence can be
seen in those 1997 poems. But, again, let me confess that my mental health
by 1997 wasn't 100% sound: I was a victim of DISSOCIATION and ALIENATION, have
mercy on me because of it, it was not my fault at all, sorry, sorry, sorry,
sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry and sorry. In a more merciful plane, at least to
my eyes: The Beastie Boys' lyrics in the colly of the Flash (Scene) Party 99,
along with the exerpts from the books of: Carlos Castanedaa and Erich From: na-
mely "Teachings of Don Juan" and "The Sane Society". Apologies.
By the way, in this changing times of technological upheaval when is not easy
to find something really worth to read, what is better than a connoisseur like
me pointing the direction of the scenic thinking? Shamanism and sociology. But
nevertheless, what I've done is not right, but I've a justification, I WAS
MENTALLY ILL WHEN I'VE DONE THAT... the name of the malady: Dissociation.
Lastly, I've heard underworld's song "Bruce Lee" wich has a lyric wich app-
ears to say "life kid" I liked the phrase and I've done an ascii logo wich
says "life kid"... then started to speculate about copyrights and decided to
be very careful from that moment onwards. I revised the poems and took out
all the infringiments of copyrights that I could find.
I WANT TO BE FORGIVEN for my _alienated_ poems and logos for Circe/1997,
and I WANT TO LIVE PEACEFULLY and never disturbed by nobody respecting
my life w/the computer.
MY LIFE *IS THE COMPUTER*.
