this is a neat little area lister i thought up out of the blue. no inspiration
here. :) uhm, installation is pretty simple, but it does require a bit of
customization. i'll get to that... but first:

installation

pkunzip MENU.ZIP into your menu directory, and pkunzip the TEXT.ZIP into your
text directory. yay. now go into both your file and message areas, and replace
the A command (menu command: FC/MC) with menu command: -^ and paramaters: 
AREAM0 (for message), and AREAF0 (for file). that's about it.

customization
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

all the customization consists of is copying your message/file lists to the
menu descriptions in AREAF1, AREAF2, AREAM1, and AREAM2. the area list is
divided into pages, with ten bases on each. so simply edit the menu of choice,
and replace the desciptions of menu commands 1-10 with your bases.

if you have more than 20 bases, the method for adding more pages is simple. 
copy AREAx2.MNU to the new page number (ie AREAx3.MNU). edit the (nextpage)
command on the previous menu to redirect it to the new page. then just add
the bases.

if you don't have a number of bases that goes into 10 evenly, i suggest doing 
this: replace the description with "--- unused" and make the menu command |K
or something equally benign.

NOTE: it is not advisable to use colour in the descriptions! it will probably
fuck up big time.
