formfeed "myspiral-formfeed.ans" was a proof on ansiprint64 program by "a740g". it's because i cannot find the constant definition for "linefeed" and "formfeed" characters. looking at the source code, "formfeed" is supposed to map to "chr$(12)". which means just place the cursor at top-left corner of the screen. the ansi-text picture employs this. however there's no way to make it hold after it finished rendering a page. _disclaimer_: this was a program i purposely wrote which should not cause somebody to become violently ill. under the influence of drugs or anything else. "pillared.ans" came from another basic program i wrote to create the image. to also test a subroutine which makes it clear i don't need to set only solid blocks. i only need to set up a screen like vga 80x50. draw on it and then call the subroutine to create an "ans" file out of it. i get a different behavior on slackware-based linux distribution. that i get on debian or ubuntu. out of ansiprint64 program. maybe it's just this picture. but i get a "normal" screen output from ansiprint64. with the other "ans" explained above. the named program sets the screen too tall for some reason. i asked for both pictures shown while they didn't have "sauce" record. because as i've said before. ansiprint64 could behave unpredictably if the acquired settings "aren't correct enough." what i mean is. to avoid getting a picture shown. then the totally blank line last of all. which cuts off the first line from the top. because it's irritating. this might seem strange from me. if you view these "ans" files from "16colo-dot-rs" site. or some other ansi-text picture viewer.
