hi. i'm mr. yuck. people on irc know me as Mr_Yuck...i'm here to tell you
a little story about new groups on irc...well, it's summertime now, and
as you all know, lil kids with nothing to do decide to start a new group
and bug everyone with lame attempts to recrute you into their group..i have
no problem with anyone trying to start a new group at all, but when it gets
to the point that they have no interest in you other than 'lemme see some
work' and 'join my group' it gets just a little bit annoying to put it
lightly...irc would be a nice place to recrute new members for a new group
that you're starting, but why not just join another more well-established
group? so you're not so good at art, well, there's many different art
groups as it is, of many different talents, and as the case may be,
untalents...if you have talent, or no talent, there is a group for you,
regardless. the point of this article is don't start a new group. join
another one. it's annoying on irc to see someone asking every 5 minutes
if you wanna join their group.
