Jasper (jasper)
Jasper started as Aesthetic's solopack outlet and morphed into a full ASCII group by spring 2002. The roster that filled out across packs 4 through 8 was a who's-who: Aesthetic, Noches, Portia, Avenging Angel, ZeroStar, Untamed, TaintedX, ZeroVision, Smoke, Arrogance, Sephiroth, Keetar, Reanimator, Ize, Velodrome, Snowball, with Klumzee and Anonymous Entity joining for pack #7. Catch22 (Glue) appeared as guest. Spear got an invite. Lure had recently died and Aesthetic noted the obit. By 2003 Jasper was effectively the working title for what would become Sense Imagery and Aesthetic himself confirmed it in 2006, calling Sense "what we started way back in 2001 as jasper project." A bridge group with a real bench and a clean handoff into the next era.
